211280 2004-01-31 09:20:00 The link I posted earlier does in fact take you to a page where you do need a username or password to enter . My point of posting the link was the fact that unless you have IE or as it appears Opera and if you work for the herald then you can't access that page .

I got the same error metla got saying that it does not support my browser (firebird) this is not the first time I have come across this on the interent so I thought I'd let you see for yourselves by posting this one ;-)

211281 2004-01-31 09:31:00 Meh.... so I sent an offensive email to someone because i wasn't able to access a page i wasn't meant to be able to access anyway?

It’s fair enough for them to instruct their employees to use whatever software they choose.

Now I’m going to have to write an apology to the person i sent that email off to.

211282 2004-01-31 20:10:00 I hadn't meant for you to send them such an email, sorry metla. Just wanted to show that there are some sites (normal ones as well) that don't support browsers other than IE. Sorry for not fore warning you. Odin (227)
211283 2004-01-31 22:00:00 Entirely my fault, and the mail i sent i wasn't offensive but certainly arrogant in its tone..Nevermind ill just explain to them that....uh....the wife did it...

I have come across numerous sites that don't work well with Firebird,The only time it bothers me is when its a work related site that i have to have access to.
