| 211596 | 2004-02-07 09:34:00 | sal.neoburn.net I took some photos, of our farm, with my digital camera from the high hill behind the house. Then I made a panorama with some IBM software I downloaded. Just for fun I wondered how it would go on the desktop, I stretched it to fit and this is the result! I think it looks like something from an elf kingdom or Lord of the Rings. The mountain in the background is Mt. Egmont (Taranaki). |

| 211597 | 2004-02-07 09:47:00 | sal.neoburn.net I thought I should include one of the frames that I used in the panorama, just to show people what the landscape really looks like |

| 211602 | 2004-02-07 13:00:00 | Hey jcr! Loved both of your versions - but have to admit (as one landscape lover to another) I really liked Nature's version best....before you tweaked it. Haven't phographed our few green paddocks or dry craggy hillsides well enough to put them on the computer...yet. But when I do, they're beautiful enough to stand on their own. Our countryside doesn't need any computer help to look fabulous. (Yes, I'm a grumpy old pain in the neck & you're a computer enthusiast trying out your skills..... So forgive me...) |
