In paint, or whatever program you're using to save the screenshot, when you click "Save", change the file type to .jpg Mike. |

2004-02-07 00:37:00 | It's some friends' daughter. Taken by an amateur with a digital canon. Pretty good hey? (and the event was lovely) I change my desktop all the time when people send a nice pic? Is this normal. Doesn't everyone like abit of variety. Oh, and thanks Jen C for the info. I didn'y know how to it before:D

2004-02-07 04:46:00 | Do you take a screen shot in Linux in the same way? Using Fedora - have tried the print screen and paste into KDE Paint to no avail. | John H (8) | |

2004-02-07 05:24:00 | Duh! Sorry Jen C - thanks. The Alt-F2 was the go. Here it is based on KDE 3.2. It isn't really personalised yet - just a standard background. sal.neoburn.net

2004-02-07 05:50:00 | So that's what KDE-3.2 looks like in Fedora.... That looks like Bluecurve too? (not my fav icon set :p) Seems a lot of people out there are upgrading KDE :-) That wedding photo is nice too! Chill.

2004-02-07 06:08:00 | Ive found you can set the taskbar totally transparent and have the icons "hovering" ;-) sal.neoburn.net ...With over 200 Backgrounds.. I dont think I've seen that one before... :p Surely this isnt ALL of PressF1's backgrounds? Chill.

2004-02-07 07:28:00 | Well it can't be all of them, there's over 9000 registered users :D If that's what you meant, anyway... I haven't posted any of mine due to formatting, who wants to see the bland desktops I've currently got? If there was a way to post a screenshot of Arch Linux I might - it'd be rather boring to look at ;)
