212026 2004-02-01 04:58:00 I use Powerdesk as my file manager. I'm unable to directly access any Word/Excel files; I get the message "There was a problem sending the command to the programme". This only happens when my firewall (ZoneAlarms v4) is active; when I switch this off the problem doesn't occur. Have tried all possible combinations of allowing/preventing access to Powerdesk in the ZA set-up, but without success. Does anybody know what setting I need to adjust to fix this problem?
(using XP, Office 97)

212027 2004-02-01 05:43:00 I dont know. Have a look on both Powerdesk and ZoneAlarms site for any mention of this and ensure you have the latest updates for both programs.

Perhaps also amend the permissions for Word/Excel and see what happens.
