| 211856 | 2004-01-31 08:43:00 | I have a SnapGear Lite + (n1110) Hardware firewall. I can play online games, but I can not host any, which is really annoying. I know opening ports makes you vunerable, but I just want to open it for a game, then close it later. I dont even know if opening ports is the right thing. I heard it was just getting the game to go to your IP address or something, as your firewall hides it (or something). As you can see, I wouldnt have a clue, so please help. It has a config software installed, which is an internet explorer link, so maybe its using IE to set it up, but it doesnt work anyway, just comes up with "C:\Documents and Settings\username\Start Menu\Programs\SnapGear\<title><\title><\head><body bgcolor=" For some stupid reason. |

You can open the port while you play and you should be safe and then you can close it once more when the game is over. | Odin (227) | ||
