| 212076 | 2004-02-01 09:44:00 | If you're wanting better hardware support, then grab yourself a nice shiny new 2.6.1 kernel :-) Xandros will likely just use the same kernel as Fedora/Mandrake, but perhaps with one or two minor patches. Im pretty sure if you run up2date you can downoad a 2.6 kernel package. All the Linux Drivers are (usually) included in the kernel, so a newer kernel means newer drivers right :-) My saa7134-based TV-Tuner card only likes my 2.6 kernel, I couldnt get the drivers I downloaded for 2.4.22 to work...
