| 212029 | 2004-02-01 05:26:00 | Hi, for some reason our 2 phone lines just every now and then . As in no dial tone - neighbours about 1 . 5 km away get the same problem and mate across the road . And usually it is the internet line to come back with a dial tone last . Of course its all telecom, this is in rural whangarei . What could be causing this . Also my friend has this problem with his phone line that whenever it rains his phone lines gets all "scratchy" and he continuesly gets kicked off the net, even his normal phone is affected . I told him it is probably water getting onto the line and that he should call telecom and complain . Cheers |

They ued to be pretty free with $10 phone cards, more recently they give credits, i had $100 last year because they kept on cutting my callminder link to my 027 mobile . Once you get a credit, you get things sorted faster becaseu they knowm it is costing, maybe they have to report they gave you a credit and why . . some 123 are pretty free with credits . Alos if you are diconnected for 24 hours, you should get a months rental credited . If htye tell you thta you should have told them the minute the break started (The rule is 24 hours from when you tell them to when you are connected again) ask how you should tell them if the phone is out, and do not addmitt you have a mobile . |
