2004-02-02 11:34:00 | hi, Bit of a tricky one to explain but anyway.. When I have a window open and click on the favourites button, then click on one of my favourites everything looks like its loading the new page, progress bar, address name change etc but, all i can still see in the actual window is the site that i am leaving. This does not happen when using the history option even though the same sort of box opens with a list of sites. any ideas guys and gals? dave.

2004-02-02 21:52:00 | So are you saying that when you click on a favorite the site does not load. If so then that favorite link may be outdated, try adding that site to your favorites again when you have the page displayed.

2004-02-03 00:30:00 | I am still not clear what happens when you select a favorite. Can you confirm the site does not load but all indications are that it is trying to. Do you get any error message if you leave it long enough.

2004-02-03 00:40:00 | yeah its a funny one, i reckon the site is loading because sometimes bits of the new page that a boxes that have scrolling options come up, for example www.telstraclear.co.nz , on this site the part where u can select the channels etc comes up, but only the grey bits if you know what i mean? maybe its time i also make the switch to mozilla. is there a copy of it on the current mag? dave.

2004-02-03 00:59:00 | You could try a repair of IE if you have this option Control panels/Add remove programs IE and Remove If you get the option to repair select this. Also check the info from MS at this link support.microsoft.com
