2004-02-01 23:10:00 | Gidday everyone, Does anyone know of any good websites or disscussion groups that deal with the Atari 2600 Gaming console? I have been given one that isn't putting out any sound and would like some help. Cheers!

2004-02-02 02:48:00 | Thanks Guy's! Yes, understand that the graphics are chunky and the games are old. But that's the whole reason i'm keeping it, for nostalgic reason's! I blast from the past you might say! Trying to re-live my childhood. I can remember when these things first came out and were too expensive for my folks to get me one! Anyway me and my 3yr old will have a ball, have already, not too complicated for him. I nice transition before I get him/us an X-Box or PS2 next christmas [Maybe] Cheers Darcy.

Might ring up the nurse and tell them to give my old boy an extra helping of desert tonight..... .......................HAx2 |

2004-02-02 08:24:00 | I used to have an 800XL in my younger days, and I absolutely loved it. Among my favourite games were: Tapper Blueprint Cosmic Tunnels Donkey Kong Pharoh's Curse Anyone else like to share their favourites? I was thrilled when I recently found an Atari emulator for my late model Macintosh but, alas, it wasn't very reliable. Still a nice blast from the past, though.

2004-02-02 19:52:00 | i played ET for the 2600.... i mean... what a crap game! lol the even better thing though is that while there were 10 million atari consoles in homes, atari made 12 million copies of the game!?!? They had to bury all the unsold copies in the desert... - David
