| 212167 | 2004-02-01 22:54:00 | I need help with how to set up a system so that files between a laptop and a desktop can be synchronized over a network. both computers are running XP home and will be networked with a crossover cable. this synchronizing will need to happen every day. is does not need to be fully automatic but it would be good if it is easy to use. any help would be cool |

(do this on the laptop) open the "network palces" and drag file or folders from the desktop computer to the "Briefcase" folder. from this point on if you chane files on the laptop you just have to click on the Briefcase and click update. easy |
