| 212485 | 2004-02-03 04:15:00 | My friend has a OmniBook XE3 running XP. When in Word after typing for half an hour or so the outer key Q-W, .-/ etc start playing up. I.e type and A and get a Q. Any ideas? Thanks Tim |

That suggests there is a problem in the adressing circuitry when its getting warm from the heat generated by the laptop. It could be an electronic "breakdown" or a mechanical connection problem. If its under warranty, it would be worth making use of it. There is probably not a lot that you can do unless you are skilled in microsurgery. |
