| 212985 | 2004-02-08 04:03:00 | My last post may not be explicit enough. We run Pesenter for song lyrics but often also want to run a PPT show or backing pictures etc for our lessons. Switching during the service is clumsy and I was looking to make that easier. Thanks again for the responses. BTW. I am nearly ready to salvage my data from my harddrive. Some spare hardware has come in very handy. Hope to fix my WIN98 problem - it looks like registry problems but I want to get some important financal files and my electronic diary off before getting into that. Guess who will be reviewing backups and stuff. |

| 212987 | 2004-02-08 20:32:00 | Thanks for your detailed suggestion mark.p - I will check it thru when I get a chance but from memory and my attempts to use other hardware, Win98 does not quite work the same as regards setting the primary and secondary screens. ie: I was unable to change them around. In any case, we have a system which works but like your procedure it requires a series of steps which are not easy for inexperienced operators; esp when music group are ready to start and we are trying to get back to the song lyrics system. Will give it burl tho - ready to try anything - but have to arrange time to get hold of laptop and projector. "S" |
