| 213413 | 2004-02-07 01:18:00 | For some time my email client (Foxmail) has sometimes taken an age to log onto the Paradise mail server when checking for email. So rather than using the address pop3.paradise.net.nz for the pop3 server, or if you like, mail.paradise.net.nz which is an alias, I used a name server lookup for this address. This is 203.96.152.6. Using this instead now gives instant access to the mail server, much more satisfactory. As a result of this, I get the impression that the Paradise domain name servers have difficulty resolving their own pop3 mail server address ?:| |
