213398 2004-02-07 00:53:00 I seem to be having problems playing online games.
Win XP, SP1 with all the latest updates.
256k Cable modem with paradise.
The Problem: Keep getting "connection Interrupted" message, while trying
to play Call of Duty. Before you ask, yes, I own the game, I bought it a few weeks ago!! My CD key is valid!!! I have the latest game patches.
I have tried shutting down all firewalls (XP/Kerio), turned off A/V (AVG),
makes no difference!
I have done a tracert to gameplanet.co.nz several times over the last few days, the highest ping I have seen is 32.
Anyone know what the problem could be??

213399 2004-02-07 02:28:00 What else happens when the "connection interrupted" message appears? Does the game freeze up or can you continue playing as normal after it goes away?

I haven't played CoD online but it sounds like a bad lag spike from the server or something.

213400 2004-02-07 04:28:00 Yeah. freez's up.
I may have found the cure!
I am using "All Seeing Eye" to find local game servers.
I set the "Max packets per second" higher and it seems to work.
Cheers.
