| 213771 | 2004-02-08 09:10:00 | I have run the Sandra Standard software on my Compaq Presario desktop PC running ME. The program tells me that my BIOS can be shadowed and cached to improve performance and also that my video card pci slot (bus?) latency is too high and that, although it speeds the video output up, it may give problems with the sound dropping trying to keep up. And the sound actually does drop and freeze quite often when playing games. The question is how do I check these two things in my BIOS? I can get into the compaq BIOS but where from there? Thanks for any help you can give me. |
