No it won't. You need to disable your old themes and use the default one until you install a 0.8 compatible theme. |

2004-02-10 09:51:00 | I installed it a couple hours ago(did not take firebird off beforehand)...anyay,its automaticly grabbed teh bookmarks out of firebird and copied over my extensions as well. The tools bars are also set up exactly as i had them in firebird Very nice indeed. And firebird is still running side by side with firefox, which is handy because when they realise they have bundled in 56 security holes with every new feature i can revert back... wait...This isn't MS,.....Guess ill be safe then...

2004-02-10 11:11:00 | Been playing around with Firefox for a few hours now and starting to get it sorted, as excitement ebbs, and common sense flows in, the browser gets easier and better. Thanks to those that helped. DD.

2004-02-10 13:04:00 | Ad-Block (texturizer.net) is a versatile addition to the anti ad arsenal I like the fact you can tell it to prevent firefox from displaying anything that would load from */ad/* & */ads/* & */adserv/* & *.doubleclick.* & .... the list goes on ;-) Brilliant (admitadly this was available previously, but still a great little extension)

2004-02-11 00:48:00 | Decided to install Firefox to see what all the fuss was about and have to admit that I am impressed. However, I have one particular web site which when loaded is only a blank page. It did work the first time I tried it then no more!!! Any ideas as to what may have caused this? Also when I tried to type this message using Firefox I could not enter any text in the reply box and had to use IE6. All help greatly appreciated. Thanks

2004-02-11 01:06:00 | That's strange indeed. I can safely say that Firefox works with PressF1.... Ive been using it for around 18 months now... Im sure somebody will be able to help you out :-) My fav feature is ad blocking, and popup stopping.. I just hate browsing with IE because of the amount of popups. A smile creeps onto my face every time a little blue "i" appears in the bottom left corner of my browser telling me its stopped a popup :-D Chill.

2004-02-12 19:43:00 | I thought I'd better see what this is all about myself. I used to use Mozilla when I had a Linux computer and quite liked it; but I think I like this one better. Only thing is its a bit funny when I type in a URL, instead of completing the link and going to the site, like I'm used to, it will complete the link, but give an error message, mind you I press enter again and its there; just a little quirk I'll have to get used to I suppose. The other thing is it woulldn't load all sites over my network, that might be a matter of setting up connection options in Tools to work in with my Proxy Server (AnalogX). Anyway I'll give it a go.
