213918 2004-02-09 06:49:00 do you have a driver disk?

if not then go to www.hp.com and get the drivers.

213920 2004-02-09 11:12:00 Search by printer number - see HP for details. Merlin (503)
213921 2004-02-09 20:53:00 What is model number? W98 has a lot of drivers built in. Go to control panel - printer - add, and use say HP 320 - works on my portable which is a 340.

2) I donot know what model number of printer. On the top it said: hewllett packard deskjet portable, inside battery conpartment have sticker labeled hp C2614A - FCC ID B94C2614X MADE IN JAPAN serial no 3251j35989.

213923 2004-02-10 04:21:00 Have you tried inserting the CD? You could also try downloading from the HP site drivers for the 320 - seem to work on a fairly wide range of portable ones - unless it is a late model.

213924 2004-02-10 04:25:00 Its very old, the only drivers available are Windows 95. I used to have one.

They should still work in Windows 98.

HP supplied drivers are here (h20015.www2.hp.com)

Its a "HP Portable DeskJet model C2614A"

Very slow, expensive to run.
You don't need a battery unless you want to use it mobile.
You need plenty of patience, and not to want to feed many sheets at a time.

Not auto detected from memory (Parallel port connected)
