213726 2004-02-08 08:31:00 AVG is great!! I've had it for ages including my Norton. I also installed it on a few "older" members computers for them as they had no idea about antivirus. Great thing is, it update every day and they don't send you annoying spam! Lucy (182)
213727 2004-02-08 11:07:00 I have been using AVG ver. 7.0.211 (licensed) for many months.
Can someone please tell me if AVG scans email during download or when opened.
The reason I ask is that during the past week I have recieved more than 100 suspicious emails most with attachments.
All have been manually deleted
AVG has not picked up any as containing a virus.
The virus vault is still empty
The control center informs me....
Resident shield is loaded.
email scanner is fully functional.
Internal database is up to date.
Update manager...last updated 8/2
Any ideas ?
