214350 2004-02-10 15:21:00 I have probably misinterpreted what you need to see, but try
Control panel -> System -> Advanced -> Visual Effects -> Performance - - Settings -> Use a background image for each folder type.

214352 2004-02-11 08:58:00 Haaeeey ;) ,your on the right track there R2x1 thanks, that removed the boring dull image in the right hand bottom corner of the window :D , now how do I put in a picture of my choice? Mattrix (527)
214353 2004-02-11 11:43:00 aaaaaaah, well The only way I know, is to put brilliant , exciting pictures at the front of each folder, before the dull ones that do all the work. So, name all your favourite pictures with alphabetically advantageous file names, if neccesary, temporarily move the others out, re-enable the icons, then move your other files back. I decided it wasn't worth the hassle. ( We need wallpaper for folders, to help WinxX XP2004 get even bigger and more eXPensive) :-) R2x1 (4628)
214354 2004-02-12 10:38:00 hmmm, R2x1 I think your off track again?:l, are you refering to thumbnail pictures showing contents of the folder?
"Wallpaper for folders!" thats what Im talking bout, looks really cool, I have seen it done on another computer, so I know it is possible, ;\
Does anyone know how to do it?:)
