| 214320 | 2004-02-10 07:33:00 | Yes folks. I just inserted the cd to show some friends, rebooted the pc, up came Slackware. I had to start the GUI manually but thats ok for someone like me. It found the network ok and hence I can surf without changing/setting anything. Even Flash animations work (hmmmm). This Linux stuff is good :D | Dolby Digital (160) | ||
| 214321 | 2004-02-10 10:55:00 | Yes, You have to manually type: startx Its not that much hassle though, its good for quick boots where you dont want the GUI loading, on low-spec PC's! KDE looks nice though, and for 250MB... have they put KDE 3.2 on it yet? Cheers Chill. |
