| 214191 | 2004-02-09 23:20:00 | Hi, a friends pc is having major problems and I want to install winxp on it. It has win98 and I want to keep some of his data. It's to unstable to run any programs eg. burner software so I don't want to format it. I want to install winxp to say winxp folder and save his data and then delete everything else. Will this work? at the moment everytime you run anything I get a Fatal error and blue screen. Thanks |

( i back-up to a different hard drive... it makes life so much easier...) But im not sure about your question... If you cant write you Mission-Critical My Doc's to CD... id try and borrow a drive and move it all to there while i full install XP (not upgrade) |
