214657 2004-02-11 09:34:00 Hi, I recently installed Japanese input onto my computer, and now many of the keys of the character map have been changed.

Most importantly, the backslash has been replaced by the yen symbol.

This is only in one font, the one the my computer uses, and that default programs use. Another is that the plus/minus sign has been replaced.

Please help, I'm sure there is someway of editting the character map. I want my backslash back!

PS. Running Windows XP, IME inbuilt. The language is set to English at ALL TIMES.

214658 2004-02-11 09:47:00 OK so as far as I can tell, the only font affected is "Microsoft Sans Serif".

The most annoying one, the backslash, is UNICODE 005C, and as the clipboard stores these characters in this font all pasting between fonts is bunged too..

HELP!!!
