| 214457 | 2004-02-11 01:43:00 | I have not got the Chart menu (not icon) in Excel (XP). I need it to draw trend lines. How do I get it to appear in my menu line? Thanks |

| 214458 | 2004-02-11 02:02:00 | View > Toolbars >> Chart. Drag the chart toolbar up to the other toolbars and dock it there if you wish. ;-) |

| 214461 | 2004-02-11 03:50:00 | you need to create the chart, select the data series then choose add trendline from the chart menu. :!) |

If you have a chart drawn (I presume you do) then click on any cell and you will see there is a menu item called Data. Now click on the Chart itself and you will see the Data menu is replaced by the Chart menu. Depending upon what you have selected you may get different menus or options in Excel. For example, the Redo button in the standard toolbar will be disabled (greyed out) until you first Undo something. hth |
