| 214398 | 2004-02-10 20:29:00 | IE 6 has recently become unstable, even after running the IE auto-repair. So I have installed Netscape 7.1. I used to run Netscape all the time but IE's URL-bookmark auto complete feature appealed to me in spite of not wanting to use yet another Microsoft program. Netscape installed flawlessly and even picked up all IE's bookmarks automatically, but I cannot get Netscape auto complete to work. For example, in IE all I have to do is to start typing "pr" for Press F1 and the URL bar automatically finds Press F1 as listed in the Favorites folder and then loads up the Press F1 page. Yes, I have ticked the Smart Browsing auto-complete boxes under Preferences. What to do now? Thanks, Steve L |
