| 215232 | 2004-02-16 03:51:00 | Yes, they probably are Mark, at least having them switched on would be, but that wouldn't prevent texting for later retrieval etc. Where there's a will there's a way. I can see the day coming that they are banned from schools completely though I can't see how such a ban could be effectively enforced. Some overseas schools have cellphone detectors in classrooms to keep thing honest at exam times, same technology/units as the detectors found in many overseas hospitals.
