1356139 2013-10-16 06:59:00 Hi all,

I have a linux .iso that I would like to burn onto a USB that I can boot with on my mid-2012 Macbook Air.
Will it boot from the .iso or do Mac's only boot from .dmg's (if so, how would I convert it)?
Also, could a windows PC boot from the .iso as well as the MbA?

Thanks,
Nerdtastic

1356140 2013-10-16 07:10:00 .iso and .dmg are just different formats of disk image it doesn't matter once it is mounted to a memory stick or burnt to a dvd/cd and yes a windows computer can boot from the same .iso (once mounted/burnt or in a virtual machine). icow (15313)
