1333762 2013-03-22 22:21:00 I was at a place in Penrose picking up my sons toshiba lappie being fixed under warranty. In front of me was a man who had lost the plot and was babbling incomprehensibly about his Navman GPS it was his third trip to drop it off for repair So I will never buy a Navman GPS. I will never buy a Tom Tom GPS again after paying $A100 to update it for a year. Bought Garmin and will stick with that brand. On the lappie front will never buy Toshiba after it died. Only Samsung now everything Samsung. prefect (6291)

Each to their own, I won't touch Samsung after many bad experiences with them, and have found Navman to be great, also Toshiba are generally very reliable. ;)

Wouldn't have a clue, still prefer the paper edition.

My Tom Tom about 2 weeks ago after updating has not been able to see any satellites anymore. There have been numerous updates since then but none of them have fixed the problem. It's only 2 months old and hardly used. . It was a freeby so it's not the end of trhe world..
