I removed the custom profile title and immediately gave a 24 hour ban. Rinse and repeat, except it is for 3 days this time. I can't believe how nosy some people are. :Dwe have no lives, that was the most interesting thing to happen in a while. You could always avoid people being nosy by starting a banned thread open to mods only to post the reasons why..... |

It didn't worry me as I moved on to another better forum of the same topic. I was also warned on another forum for using the letters RTFM and told it was a family forum by a mod. :) |

For a while, Metla was getting 48 hours in the sin-bin every other week. It was almost a running joke between him and I that we had, if he'd not been banned in over a fortnight that he needed to go do something against the rules so we could ban him again. Aaaaah fond memories! |

We’ve finally established that the Law you and Jen kept quoting doesn’t exist and it’s pure speculation that it ever will. Having got over that hurdle you say you don’t care. Dare I suggest that the Rant you had in Post #50 of the lead Sticky Thread suggests otherwise and is the seat of the problem? By your own admission you were trying to close down links to Fairfax’s own News Items on Waitangi Settlements and Maori Grievances. Whilst I agree that Fairfax can run their business however they see fit, I don’t believe they would condone you censoring their News Items. I therefore challenge you to make a Rule that there can be no Posts with Links to Fairfax News Items on Maori issues. :) |
