1334926	2013-04-03 03:16:00	It's pretty stupid how badly a lot of people took it really, but whatevs . . . No mate, it wasn’t the other people that were stupid, there were too many of them . Initially I excused you, believing you were foolishly acting as Zara’s “Fall Guy”, but you have since denied that, so the problem stops with you . Ian was quite right about your attitude, as were a number of other valued members, some of whom resigned from the Forum over it, which I must say is a shame . To make matters worse, your whole argument relied on a non existent law . However, I struggle to accept that Ian was banned in April for a Post he made in February so what was the real problem?	B.M. Seriously one little heated debate / thread on a forum site with a person you may or may not have met IRL and you change you're all up in arms about it... I thought Goodiesguy was immature. 1334928	2013-04-03 03:54:00	Nah he wasn't banned for that post. Couldn't care less about what was said in that thread back in the day... Apparently he was asked to change his title, he refused, so it was changed for him by one of the other admins and he was banned for 24 hours. He then changed it back when he was unbanned, so he was banned yet again... I don't really care about the law, you'll see that in the very first post of that thread, but the fact of the matter is this is Fairfax's forums, they're allowed to police it however they like, and there's absolutely nothing stopping anybody from creating their own forum as other members have done to discuss other matters that Fairfax don't want discussed on their forums. In fact I intentionally left the link in that thread, I believe it's still there. @plod: Go right ahead mate, I'm honestly not one to hold a grudge or get all worked up over something silly like that, in fact anybody who's met me from these forums at the multitude of lunches will attest that I'm incredibly light-hearted and usually the first to go poking fun at something ;) @B.M: Yes it's a shame some have left, however I've noticed some have also returned as a result of it. There's never any pleasing everybody, we can only do our best to make these as welcoming as possible and stick within the guidelines set out by Fairfax. Hell if they turn around tomorrow and said they wanted to get rid of the Chat forum, there's nothing we can do to stop them, it's their prerogative really. Can’t say I even saw the “Prick” comment but it’s not something that would faze me having even been called a “Prize” one on a number of occasions . :D People these days are just soooooo precious . :rolleyes:	B.M. Just to clarify, he wasn't warned or asked first, he knows the drill. I removed the custom profile title and immediately gave a 24 hour ban. Rinse and repeat, except it is for 3 days this time.
