| 1334157 | 2013-03-29 02:46:00 | I'm about 1.5km from the cabinet. The modem usually says downstream data rate is 14900ks typically, sometimes a bit more, sometimes a bit less. I may have given the impression that there is trouble all the time, but most of the time it is ok. It is the uncertainty of continuous reliable connection that is the main problem. If there was a house fire, you can just imagine saying, "hang on a while the modem has to be rebooted for me to get phones working", and there is no certainty that the phone will work even after doing that :) |
