If you're happy with your iOS devices, then sure, why not, but if you wanna try something new then it's not like it's going to blow the bank trying a N7. It is *definitely* easier to hold than an iPad for an extended period of time though and I'm a big fan of Jellybean :D Still, if you're used to buying music through iTunes you'll be disappointed with jumping through hoops to get Music through the Play Store, so just stick with music on iTunes ;) Can you not purchase music from the play store in NZ yet? |

| 1333857 | 2013-03-25 03:39:00 | Can you not purchase music from the play store in NZ yet? Dunno but you can use whatever digirama is called now on a pc and sync the files easily enough so there are options. I suppose you can do that with apple as well but probably still have to involve itunes. |

And no you do not have to use iTunes for music (you don't really need to use it at all for iOS gear now) you can purchase it on the device and re-download as many times as you like. If you have iTunes match you can keep all your music in the cloud, even if it wasn't purchased in iTunes. | Alex B (15479) | ||

| 1333863 | 2013-03-25 21:37:00 | Also what I meant by needing itunes was if you purchase music online with a pc using a site that is not itunes and want to transfer it to your iDevice you have to use itunes ( officially) At least that's how I understand it, I dont actually own an apple product. I've often considered getting an ipod just because of all the cool peripherals available that other players just don't have. Ever tried to find a good quality radio alarm clock without an ipod dock? |

I am likely to pickup an Android phone of some description while I'm there as well (an iPhone is too damn expensive). |
