2013-03-27 00:21:00 | nz.news.yahoo.com Is doing nothing about this somehow OK ?? Look the other way?? Why not round them up, take them somewhere safe for a few years to try & get them sorted out. Worst case is you may just save a few of them. Arrest the 'clients' . name & shame. The clients would be the worst kind of dodgy scum ,its illegal in the worst possible way, 11 & 13 years remember Then round up the parents & pimps , & put them in the clink Obviously its not a sure fix, but why sit back & let it happen. Perhaps bitzing car drivers is more important .

2013-03-27 02:56:00 | So what the hell is the Maori Warden doing about it?, Why did the Warden not drag the girl down to the police to then then arrest the parents? | SolMiester (139) | |
2013-03-27 03:08:00 | Exactly the maoris warden is not doing his job which is to go to the police. | prefect (6291) | |
2013-03-27 04:14:00 | Exactly the maoris warden is not doing his job which is to go to the police.maori wardens can only deal with Maoris, so one can presume these children were either not Maori, or the daughters of the wardens who put them on the street in the first place.... P.S, this story actually saddens me. Shoot the parents.

2013-03-27 19:25:00 | yes its very sad. It would be great if the police picked them up and took them home But then they'd be out there the next day. I blame their relations who are probably pimping them. What low life scum. And the "clients" are not much better.

The problem is that due to the liberal child discipline laws in this country the kid most likely give the parent the one fingered solute and say " If you try to stop me I'll go to the cops and say your abusing me" |

2013-03-30 10:45:00 | The problem is that due to the liberal child discipline laws in this country the kid most likely give the parent the one fingered solute and say " If you try to stop me I'll go to the cops and say your abusing me" Agreed. Once society determined that it was no longer politically correct to teach children right from wrong in ways they can understand, we opened up the way to every sort of social ill and no amount of hand-wringing will put the genie back in the bottle. In the misguided efforts to 'protect' the kids from evil, they have been cast adrift to find their own way and sending them to the naughty corner does nothing to show them the way they should go.
