1477818 2021-06-13 21:51:00 I take my daily vitamin C the natural way, not by a tablet. I have an orange after tea while watching TV.

Besides, experts suggest that food offers three primary benefits over supplements: Greater nutrition from the complexity of foods, essential fibre to manage constipation and help prevent certain diseases, and protective substances like “phytochemicals” that occur naturally and can help prevent cancer, heart disease, diabetes and other problems.

And, on top of it all, a juicy orange tastes a whole lot better than a tablet!:banana

1477819 2021-06-13 23:48:00 The whole vitamin pill industry is really just a money making scam .
With very little quality checking as to whats ACTUALLY in them (dosage) .

Vit C is harmfull in high doses , long term . And then you can get rebound scurvy when you suddenly stop taking those high dose pills .
Little mention that some of these vitamin & suppliment pills are TOXIC long term, as some doses some pills are ridiculously high .

Eat some fruit , or fish, or vegetables . :-)

Just another money making scheme to extract cash from the uniformed. Unless supplements are prescribed by your doctor after appropriate testing and diagnosis they are a total waste of money and as 1101 advised above can be actually harmful.

Does eating an orange after tea help with finding something worth watching on TV?

Actually many foods have more Vitamin C than citrus .
Capsicums for instance .

And sometimes old people get anemic . . . my mum has been told she needs Vitamin B/iron . She won't eat red meat and lacks haem iron .

Husband did too for a while . . . .
