New wallpapers and sounds are pretty nice, for the wallpapers they have some stunning pics to go with both light and dark mode windows, for sounds the new ones are a lot less shrill and deeper and more bassy. You can grab them from :

Wallpapers: www.glitched.online

Sounds: m.majorgeeks.com

1477905 2021-06-18 04:47:00 Back in Post #14 I mentioned not yet -- OK I folded LOL Got it, and of course got the "This PC Can't Run Windows 11" Error :crying

The BIOS didn't have the TPM Settings to change, so double :crying :crying = Hardware to old (original built with W7), BUT another "fix" did work, :)

Do like the options to "Snap" Windows to various positions - will come in real handy.

Of Course its only on a old hunk of junk, but does work reasonably well.

Guess some of the newer options feel like old news already, the insider builds have had them for a while

But then you can download wallpapers whatever your O/S. So long as your screen can handle the resolution...I have some stunning ones for mine...although I can't go too high a res...screen isn't that new - or big.
The GPU can handle it...alas not my screen.

1477910 2021-06-19 02:49:00 Have been running for the week now. Running it on an Alienware 17 R5

Performance is basically on par with Win 10. A few weird glitches that are the be expected of betas. Amazed that I've had 0 compatibility issues with apps, normally things like Synergy and Quickbooks/MYOB break hard on new OS's.

The new snap feature has been a god send since I work with a laptop and dual monitors. Still hope they reverse course on the new start menu layout though, even after trying to get used to it, it's a big step back from Win 10.

Other than that not much else to report, hoping that Microsoft will have a lot more new features to talk about next week that are missing from this build.

For sure, which is why I'm hoping it's a seperate release to 10, no forced upgrade for folks who don't want it.

I only mention it because Microsoft's track record on included wallpapers has been absolutely horrendous, and thought it was cool to see a change in it.
