1473935 2020-12-24 20:54:00 Happy Christmas kiotimak, may all your computer dreams come true. zqwerty (97)
1473936 2020-12-24 22:04:00 wainuitech has told you/us before how to do an install without using an MS Password, that you have identified yourself to MS (your email) means that you probably have files and folders you uploaded to the cloud sometime in the past and MS is helping you lol. This is EXACTLY whats happening.

To be honest, I haven't known anyone to have so many troubles. It can only be put down to a few things

1. Using bad / Damaged images or damaged Hardware (drives).
2. Taking shortcuts which in the end cause problems.
3. MS Accounts -- you dont have to use them, out of the hundreds of Customers computers that have had W10 installed, there may be only 1 or 2 that actually wanted them. If you have a MS account then onedrive will load and sync if theres any previous data, again when installing you can turn off all the tasks it wants top do ( send data) . On my own office PC it uses onedrive, but that alone is signed into MS, not the whole computer, that's signed into a local server, none of the other computers are. :)

The KEY to above as I have posted previously is install while NOT connected to the internet. :) (you have more control)

Merry Christmas. Fine here which is good day so far:)

cheers!!! I remove the internet cable from computer when Install Win?
I gonna wipe clean the Intel 660P and play it again Sam.
Have a nice day :D
See ya next year.
ps: I don't use two apps when I make alterations to C Drive, or any other connected Drive. The pic I showed that had both Easues Partition Master and Disk Management in the one pic was only to show the differences in what was on the Intel M.2 SSD............. Easeus showed 8 Partitions and Disk Management showed 6 Partitions. I use Easeus to do any wiping etc etc solely because I got onto using it way back in about 2006/7. Disk Management was alien to me at that time, and I still use it today (except when I did the Fresh install W10 yesterday as I said I deleted the partitions on the Intel prior to installing from the ESD USB.

Have a good'n

1473942 2021-01-03 07:10:00 Use dd command in Linux to create a 1:1 image of the whole drive. Partition table won't get messed up then. Write to new drive (same or bigger capacity). Expand partition if needed. Agent_24 (57)

Hi. I use Windows not Linux. I presume you mean that I use a Linux Live CD, such as Knoppix or Clonezilla Live
I have Knoppix on Disk, somewhere. I downloaded and burned it to disk some 12+ years ago. Was beyond my knowledge to figure out how to use it. I think I opted for GParted Live CD to do what I wanted.
I am having a read-up on Linux dd command
