hi. DiskGenius apparently wiped the disk, but it hadn't when viewed in Easeus and Disk management. I didn't try to change Drive Number (ID)...I couldn't find any icon/option to to that. I will google for DiskGenius 'How to use' for beginners (idiots) :D
Booted into GParted Live CD couldn't detect any devices, only had the Corsair disk connected to computer. I allowed it to scan for devices for 10minutes, then Exited/Reboot and repeat scan another 10 mins, no devices found.
Easeus Partition Master apparently had wiped the Corsair disk, but it hadn't.
The Corsair is Offline so it cannot be manipulated. Thus far, all attempts to make it Online have been futile.
Some pics. DiskGenius first and Easeus in next post. I had taken some screenshots of GParted searching for devices but, cannot find my mobile. It's done a disappearing act in the middle of the night.

1473440 2020-12-11 07:07:00 Easeus Erase pics.
Job done it claimed and appeared to have done so, but no it hadn't.
Disk management shows no Drive Letter or File System, Healthy(Boot,Pagefile, Crash Dump, Basic Data Partition) in the 233.94GB Partition. Probably because the Corsair is Offline.

1473441 2020-12-11 07:22:00 I even tried to get the Corsair Offline Status changed to Online as detailed from the link below. It is for W8 but I thought it 'may' come to the party. Stood me up. :D

Hi and thanks for your input. I will try the Reactive Command in Disk management.
Of course I had to Google the 'How to do it'. Got the link below. Worth a try. Have to reconnect the Corsair drive into computer. I will post back the outcome.

Hi again. I tried to use the Reactive Command but was unable to make any changes to the Corsairs status. Probably because it is Offline.
Before that having only the Corsair drive connected in computer, I tried using the W10 install DVD to get into repair>Troubleshoot>Advanced Options>Reset PC......... That failed, reason given was "Unable to reset this PC. A required drive partition is missing" I couldn't take a pic of it as my mobile is awol.
I also tried Command Prompt in Advanced Options. It showed two Hidden partitions: one was Fat32 (no size shown) and the other was 100MB and that is the size of the EFI(System Partition) I assume the FAT32 partition is the 529MB Recovery Partition.
Note that in Disk Management, both of the Disk 1 partitions 2 and 3 show having 100% Free Space.
Troublesome to say the least.
Thanks once again.
Cheers.

1473445 2020-12-11 10:05:00 Right click Disk 1 and make it Online in Disk Management where the exclamation mark is on the left hand side. zqwerty (97)

hi. I tried that several times, in Disk Management, also in other partition tools. it cannot be made online because it has a signature collision with another device in the computer, namely the Samsung Evo 860 SSD that has the same OS on it that was installed from an backup image made of the Corsair Force MP300 2-3 years ago. So, both of the SSD's the Corsair and the Samsung have the same Uniqueid. I cannot alter the uniqueid of the Corsair even though I have tried several methods suggested from links I googled the question about changing Uniqueid of disk.

I cannot change the Offline status of the Corsair Force MP300 SSD when it is the sole SSD connected to the computer. it still says it has the signature collision with another device and there is NO other device SSD conneted to the computer. Most peculiar that is indeed. A pic showing the same uniqueid's of both SSD's.

1473448 2020-12-11 17:58:00 I think enough time has been used attempting to get the Corsair Online, Wiped clean in this computer I am using.
Today I will spend putting together the other mostly unused parts I have to build a computer ( Gigabyte AB350-D3H, AMD Ryzen 5 2600, 16GB Crucial Ballistix 2933MHz DDR4, AMD Radeon Sapphire Nitro RX580 GPU, Coolermaster 550W PSU). the RX580 requires a 600W PSU so could be pushing the Coolermaster. I will try the Corsair in that and attempt to Wipe it and see if it STILL shows in Disk Management as being Offline. I have a Intel 660P Series NVMe 512GB that I was using in current computer which has a mangled OS and I can wipe that an use in the New rig I construct today.
May need another License from MS. Most probably a certainty.
