1472661 2020-11-01 22:34:00 Seems to be back to normal since this morning ...

Did you fix it, wainuitech? :D Nope, cant take credit for that one ;) Cant test either as the computer I used is no longer here. But I'll fire up another fresh install and see what happens.

Are you using WhatsApp Web or WhatsApp for Windows?

What's your Windows version?

1472666 2020-11-02 04:51:00 We are talking about WhatsApp for Windows PC, it is not the same as WhatsApp Web.

WhatsApp Web works OK. no issues. from mobile phone , too, no issues.

It is working OK as I am type this post now. LOL

1472667 2020-11-02 07:39:00 OK. wainuitech, I discovered something may be of interest to you:

I can launch WhatsApp without problem after I turned ON my PC; BUT,

.. if I close WhatsApp and wish to open it again, it refuses to open (nothing happens when I click on the icon).

I will need to restart my PC then only it opens OK..

Any explanation to the above?

1472668 2020-11-02 18:40:00 It either is or thinks it is already open. Restarting closes it properly so it can be reopened from scratch. CliveM (6007)
1472669 2020-11-02 19:47:00 How to make it 'think' correctly? bk T (215)
1472670 2020-11-02 21:08:00 Similar for me. This morning I installed the update 2.2043.21 (64) for win. It opened Ok but when I exited and went to rename the shortcut icon i got nil response. then went to Start menu and selected Whats App -again nil response

I sghall try a reboot to see if any action occurs
