And you used to be able to buy a TV with a DVD player but not any more.:waughh: The reason is that you can download just about anything from the internet. So why go to the expense of adding a DVD player when it's cheaper without?

1477869 2021-06-16 21:38:00 In a previous Post I mentioned IDM (Internet Download manager) that will capture it. Hence the response the answer was given in previous posts :) BUT the quality from those sites is usually not as good.

As for the site -- Bugs ?? could be, but if so any good AV should stop them.

Thank you very much, Wainui. That has done the trick. You're so very helpful. :thanks

And I am using AVG so I imagine that should keep bugs at day.

well .......... :-(

The problem with those sites often is the things you have to click on to get to the movie or download .
uBlock Origin (and popup blocker ) certainly helps .

A good AV shouldnt let you onto those sites to start with (in theory) .
And some ISP's ( via their DNS ) will try & block access to some of those sites known for allowing piracy .

Otherwise the answer HAS been given in previous posts.

Thank you very much, Wainui. I watched the film this afternoon and it was very interesting. Two things that stood out in the movie was, at the beginning, Thomas Edison was not so concerned with sound but made his sound and then put movies to his sound - so the sound came first rather than the accepted idea that the movie came first and then they added the sound.

The second thing was that in a movie there is not just one sound man - or woman - but quite a few, one for the dialogue, one for the sound effects, one for the music and so on. In one film that they showed, there was a small boat going up a river and there was one sound man just for the boat.

So the film was very interesting, thank you, and I will certainly be looking at it again.:)
