1478128 2021-06-21 03:28:00 And? I know people still using Win7, it didn't explode....
Updates never have done bugger all to keep people safe on the net. Common sense does far more, and a bit of 3rd party help.

And I know what Piroska means. My old desktop is still running XP and I have never had a problem with that.;)

1478130 2021-06-25 11:37:00 Not a biggy from my viewpoint. MSoft is better than Mobile Phones where "old" phones cannot accept the latest Android or Apple updates and as a result many Mobile Apps which i update (with no option to stay with current version of the App) are no longer assessable. One ether has to buy a new phone or is forced to abandon use of the App. Can be very frustrating -e.g. AK Transport App or a Banking App.. e.g. XERO recently introduced an extra Security layer to be able to access the program. I chose the Desktop option because for Mobile phones it Required Apple 13.0 -my phone cannot upgrade from 12.5 Because i have Win 10 (64) 20H I cannot recall if there was a warning (about minimum Desktop System requirements. I have a very old phone - lol, (thanks Kenj). Admittedly I don't have a lotof apps on it, but I use the ASB one and gaspy. (Which should be spelled Gasspy..Gas-spy, not gaspy as in can't get your breath), but both work just fine.
Updates? Who cares, it either has or it hasn't I don't check....
