| 215727 | 2004-02-18 01:01:00 | Fedora Core 1 you mean? rc means Release Candidate, AKA Pre-release for testing.... Fedora Core 2 rc1 is all that's out I believe. Ark is good... :-D Again though, its still in Alpha stages, but I must say that aside from Kaffeine and RoseGarden, I dont think my Family's PC has had a crash yet (There's known issues with those two apps ATM in Ark). So what solved it? I think Im a little lost here, either that or I missed a post while re-reading? Chill. |

| 215728 | 2004-02-18 03:46:00 | Hey Chill, I'm running Core 2 rc1 ATM. Jen found the fix for me which was: >add to /etc/sysctl.conf: ># Disable ECN >net.ipv4.tcp_ecn = 0 > >and run "systctl -p" (modified sysctl.conf is loaded automagically on >next boot time). I might add that from another post I did a su -l to fix the path up. I installed Ark last week and cant for the life of me remember why I deleted it. Hmmmmm may be because most Dists really dont seem to like the lan on my nforce 2 motherboard. Cheers Shaun |
