| 216141 | 2004-02-17 04:45:00 | I may be way behind with the info out there but does trillian not run yahoo any more? Have no idea how long yahoo has not been signed into at all, if ever this year any way, and got a letter from yahoo, saying they had shut it down (my addy) so had to reinstate it. Are they not compatable any more? MSN seems to run fine in trillian, just not yahoo. sometimes you dont know you have lost something, especially when it says it is working, when its really not..... my friends thought i was cutting them off....lol also tryd to do a update of yahoo, and mozilla tells me to do it different to the instructions, so have given up at moment due to conflictions of these instructions, and sheer lazyness. sorry to any one who already knows all this. thanxs beetle |

| 216142 | 2004-02-17 05:14:00 | In my searchings to get AMSN before my HDD i found that many sites had updates because Yahoo had changed there Authentication protocol or whatever (how you logon (technically) etc) So it is likely that Trillian cannot connect and "Authenticate with Yahoo" |

| 216143 | 2004-02-17 06:41:00 | Yeah Trillian isn't working with Yahoo at present. I'm using Trillian Pro, I haven't bothered to see if they've patched it yet. There is a patch available here (cerulean.cachenetworks.com) Don't know if that fixes the current issue or not. |

| 216147 | 2004-02-17 09:07:00 | Ok just for a change i uninstalled Yahoo and Trillian, and have found no change and have had yahoo running seperatly to trillian so no for certain it is not working on trillian even with the patches. back to the drawing board. beetle |

Ok is there any other Instant Message programs that people would suggest that are ok with MSN and Yahoo? one that can cover all the base's i guess . i know of one called Gain or something similar? but do not know if this is what im looking for, i would like to be logged into all my instant messager's but only if possible have one prog running the lot . thanxs beetle |
