216080 2004-02-17 03:11:00 Hey guys, in my bios, under chipset configuration i have these two graphic options,
Graphics Aperture Size
and
Onboard VGA Shared Memory Size

And i was wondering if one of these is changed able to extend my intergrated graphics, both of them have the option to make the mb allowance bigger but im not sure which one to change.
Thanks in advance, hsv-b0y

216081 2004-02-17 03:20:00 an incress of the"Onboard VGA Shared Memory Size" will help a bit and setting "Graphics Aperture Size" to as large as your Shared Memory Size will also improve performance.

onboard graphices cards are often very limited as to what they will do so dont expect much.

216082 2004-02-17 03:54:00 standard rule of thumb is to set "Graphics Aperture Size" to twice the video card ram.

good bit of info here (www.adriansrojakpot.com)
