| 216046 | 2004-02-16 21:52:00 | Hi Team I am looking for a new or used PIII 733 CPU to replace the Celeron 700 in my daughter's homework computer. MB is a PC Chips M756T which takes both Slot 1 and Socket 370 CPUs. It can handle a PIII Slot 1 from 450MHz up to 866MHz, or a Socket 370 from 500MHz up to 1.13GHz but I don't really want to go past 733/866 or I'll start a sibling CPU war! It has already been noted that her brother's otherwise identical PIII 733 is much faster than hers. Is there a reliable source for second-hand CPUs out there? Auckland is preferred, but anywhere in NZ is OK provided they offer some sort of guarantee. Cheers Billy 8-{) |

Was taken out of a system when the motherboard failed and finding good socket370 motherboards second hand has proved to be difficult so I will sell it. Comes with stock Intel heatsink and fan.
