| 216023 | 2004-02-16 21:12:00 | Hi there In Word 2000 the autotext function does not work correctly. In the autotext preview and the document itself it displays all the words incorrectly as squares or various other random characters. Can anyone please help? I have already tried a detect and repair. Thanks - Pazzin |

| 216027 | 2004-02-17 21:21:00 | Pazzin01, The problem is related to a corrupted NORMAL.DOT template file. Quit from Word and then you can search for and either rename or delete ALL occurances of the normal.dot file then restart your Word application See also Corrupt Normal.dot Causes Errors When Automating Word (support.microsoft.com) for what impacts the removal of existing normal.dor file may have in your situation. Cheers, Babe. |
