Printed off the instructions & will be giving it a go shortly, both computers have the Standard (?) Windows Media Player installed. Thanks PJ

Second question. On the XP I can "Queue it up" a CD & it will play all the tracks, the 98 won't. Why not? Is it something to do with XP versus 98, even tho we are both on W Media Player??? PJ

Tried it out for myself and had the same result .

I think you are probably right . If your Win 98 is like mine then the Win Media Player is the original for that OS and obviously can't do as many tricks as the newer Win XP MP . ;-)

My suggestion: if you still want to queue up a number of tracks install either Winamp or Foobar2000 which can do it for you . My preference is Foobar2000 . You still won't be able to play music from the Win XP on the Win 98 if the former computer is off though, remember . ;-)
