| 215928 | 2004-02-16 02:34:00 | Hey guys, Here's a doozy that Google hasnt been much help on :-( I was at a support job on Friday. Did the support, then as per request cleaned up a few things on their PC (Startup apps / Spyware etc). Just the usual. It was an HP box, and although Im not a big fan of HP's, I left the HP-related apps alone when stopping things from loading with msconfig. We also ran Spybot S&D. It cleared off the usual cookies, as well as WildTangent and BackWeb related files. Rebooted and it was all okay. We've been phoned up today and they customer is saying this error comes up: Runner file name (00186396.EXE) lacks a '-' (the app id seperator) Now I threw that lot into Google and it wasnt much good, so I tried just parts of it and still not much luck. I asked the lady to take a screen dump and fax it through to us, and sure enough, that's exactly how the errro appears. Does anybody have any idea's on fixing it? She's made up her mind she wont pay til its fixed. The odd thing is I rebooted and it was all perfectly fine? Many thanks Chill. |

It seems to be related to leftovers of backweb. I usually just leave backweb alone because its needed by some OEM software. |

They are usenet group archieves. You can access them in real time via your favorate newsgroup reader and a news server(I use Mozillas). For example news.xtra.co.nz for xtra customers ;). |
