216417 2004-02-18 10:00:00 Hi there,
I keep getting asked to install java virtual machine but after the 1minute installation/download or whatever, I get relocated to the microsoft web site where I am given no download option.
Can somone help me?
Why is this occuring? I have jdk 1.3 installed on my computer from some school work last trimester, maybe that has something to do with it?

216420 2004-02-18 10:22:00 uninstall the old java, make sure the java activeX componants are removed, install new java and java should now work. tweak'e (174)
216421 2004-02-18 16:39:00 While on the subject of Java. Win XP (my copy anyway), does not seem to have Java. In explorer I have a Java folder but no files in it. In my last comp I downloaded Java from the Sun site and it worked well. On my new comp I have not done so yet and am wondering why MS is not supplying it.
