| 216354 | 2004-02-18 03:37:00 | Hi, I finally got linux installed and working. But Im having trouble finding Drivers for my modem since intel doesnt support my Modem any more. Does any one happen to have a linux driver for My modem? or a link? I don't know much about my modem, so heres all the info generated by scanmodem sal.neoburn.net Thanks heaps in advance |

| 216355 | 2004-02-19 00:11:00 | Even if Intel have stopped supporting it, you can probably still find the source package. Search for "intel ham modem linux" on google. The link "RPM of Group Hardware/Modem" gives one location. On the next page of links there are several. Even though they are Suse packages, they are src.rpms, so you should be able to compile a driver to suit your version of Mandrake. There are a few links giving hints on that second page. |
