217258 2004-02-21 23:23:00 Hi guys,
I have got a Nokia 2280 mobile phone and apparently it is possible to run Java applications on it. It comes with 2 java games pre installed (Trailbiker and Sky Diver). I have searched the internet and have been unable to find such applications. I know that you need the DKU-5 USB cable to transfer them. So could anyone please tell me a website where I could download Java applications to my PC and then transfer to my phone.
Thanks heaps,
Jase

217259 2004-02-22 04:15:00 I think most want money for them, sadly. Try searching for something called midlet cave, written by a friend of mine. His might be free. It's really tiny, not complex, but annoyingly playable.

217260 2004-02-22 06:00:00 It might also be possible to download stuff using the WAP browser. Have you tried looking for downloads on Telecom's WAP site? Alasta (1420)
217261 2004-02-22 07:40:00 I've got a 3530 and i use GPRS to get games, there are quite a few freeware ones which i love and are very addictive, my recommendations are 'Jumping Jack' and 'Dopewars Suite'... make extended periods of boredom (SEE: school) fly...

217262 2004-02-23 00:50:00 Deep Abyss, which is available for the late model Sony Ericsson handsets, is absolutely superb. It's got me hooked! Alasta (1420)
217263 2004-02-24 08:20:00 It is not possible to use wap to download games ive heard or read somewhere, I think that the cable is the only way to ge the games sadly. Even then I have been looking and none of the games for other handsets are compatible with the nokia 2280. I just wondered if there was a site that had them for download. jasezone (1567)
