Ok... I've FINALLY managed to get the time to try installing Linux. I want to install my ancient 2gb 3600rpm hdd as Secondary Master, and install Linux on that. My question is, the other secondary device is a 40x12x40 CD Burner - will installing both these on the same cable cause any performance problems in either one? |

it shouldn't cause any problems however you never know ;-)
only prob could be useing cdburner in linux. the hardrive most likly runs slower than the cd burner so most likly have to burn cd's at a slow speed. |

Thanks tweak'e. I'm just "trialing" at the moment, so slow CD burning shouldn't be a problem. |
